About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced electrical engineer to support the pilot build and testing of our electrical systems design and assembly. The position involves working with embedded controllers, design and optimization of circuits, recognizing and vetting suppliers for sub systems, and testing of electrical and control framework of overall architecture. Experience with Level 3 EV charging is a strong plus.
Diploma or BS in electrical engineering, experience in electricity distribution, local microgrid operation.
Deep understanding of high power system characteristics like starting impedance, time-constants, and harmonics/EMC
5+ years of hands-on experience with working with electrical design tools like AutoCAD, Cadence
Experience with Level 3 EV charging design, maintenance, manufacturing and/or installation strongly preferred
Working knowledge of mechatronics systems, classical / modern control theories.
